Job Summary
Assist in building a profitable management liability underwriting platform by developing and maintaining broker and client relationships across the Northeast. Manage underwriting production with a focus on profitability, while helping to refine policy forms, guidelines, rating plans, and workflows. Conduct marketplace research to create underwriting tools that improve portfolio performance and use data to enhance group productivity. Collaborate with Claims and regulatory affairs teams to ensure products perform as designed and that policy wording meets U.S. filing requirements. Apply sound judgment when interpreting AI-enabled insights to adapt to evolving technology.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in Management Liability (D&O, Employment Practices and Fiduciary Liability)
- Product development experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (business or finance background is a plus)
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a can-do attitude
- Commitment to underwriting profitably and providing stellar customer service
- General understanding of, and ability to analyze internal and Audited Financial Statements
