Underwriting Director - Cyber London Market

Job Summary
Achieve annually agreed production and profitability objectives by leading pricing, risk selection, and complex high-profile account underwriting for the London Market cyber portfolio. Manage the underwriting team, set product guidelines in collaboration with technical solutions, and conduct competency audits to maintain underwriting standards. Engage directly with brokers to promote distribution strategy, maximize market opportunities, and ensure policy documentation aligns with issued coverage. Monitor market developments, research new product areas, and execute strategic growth plans while reporting on book success. Work three days in-office and two days remotely under a hybrid arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher education level
- Extensive understanding of UK Professional Indemnity or Financial Institutions and Management Liability
- Advanced level of proficiency in Organisation
- Advanced level of proficiency in Financial Acumen
- Advanced level of proficiency in Communication
- Advanced level of proficiency in Collaboration
- Advanced level of proficiency in Presentation Skill
- Advanced level of proficiency in Networking
- Advanced level of proficiency in Risk Selection
- Advanced level of proficiency in Critical and Analytical Thinking
- Advanced Qualification in Insurance (ACII or equivalent)
