Job Summary
Underwriting Consultant, Management Liability - Private responsible for the overall management, business development, analysis and monitoring of a highly complex book of insurance risk. Develops specialized endorsement language and determines pricing for complex risks, analyzes profitability, and prepares reports for management. Markets products through agencies or brokers, develops and maintains agency/broker relationships, and conducts field visits to drive profitable outcomes. Mentors and guides less experienced underwriters and collaborates using advanced CNA systems; requires strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Education typically includes a Bachelor's degree with eight years of underwriting experience; professional designations preferred. Hybrid work arrangement is noted in the posting.
