Job Summary
Underwriting Co-Op Student, Cyber & Technology at Liberty Mutual Canada in Toronto, ON. Responsible for managing cyber & technology renewal portfolios, negotiating with brokers on sales strategies, terms and pricing, and identifying new business opportunities through corporate networking. Supports risk analysis across cyber, technology, and related lines; develops risk-rating insights; assists in the development of pricing models; reviews renewal applications and generates quotes and binders within underwriting platforms. Requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to research Canadian and global businesses, analyze risk factors, monitor industry trends, and collaborate with brokers to differentiate cyber and technology products. This role offers a flexible work environment (on-site & remote) and pays CAD $24 per hour, with an active focus on building underwriting knowledge, risk assessment capabilities, and relationship-building within the broker community.
