Job Summary
Partner with underwriters to establish support needs for renewals and new business policies by gathering account information, creating exhibits, and preparing documents for pre-renewal meetings. Manage account documentation including proposals, agreements, and endorsements while ensuring accurate servicing and billing. Prepare underwriting and pricing exhibits such as exposure and experience rating analysis, then coordinate with operations to update internal systems and complete ratings. Communicate with brokers, agencies, and wholesalers to resolve inquiries, and may complete renewals based on formal guidelines. Prepare quotes by reviewing exposures and adjusting prices as requested, while providing information for regulatory compliance filings. Manage assigned workloads and resolve conflicting priorities in collaboration with the leader.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years insurance experience related to rate, quote, and issuance of P&C Insurance
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of state rules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong property knowledge
- Independently able to assign class codes, handle bureau criticisms
- Continuous improvement mindset
