Job Summary
Underwriting Assistant for Primary Casualty to support underwriting transactions, rating for new business and renewals, produce quotes/binders/endorsements, issue policies, and collaborate with underwriters and internal/external contacts. Requires a bachelor’s or technical degree or equivalent experience, preferred insurance industry experience, strong communication, analytical, and customer-service orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/ImageRight. Remote or hybrid opportunity based in one of Vantage’s office locations (US offices listed; Bermuda location included). Salary range $60,000–$85,000 with benefits and potential bonus; US-based remote work allowed within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree or equivalent professional experience
- At least one year of insurance industry experience preferred
- One year of insurance product line experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance policy forms and regulatory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical capabilities to identify and resolve issues
- Drive to Deliver and customer service focus
- Digitally savvy/Insight skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, ImageRight
