Job Summary
In the role of Underwriting Assistant, you will support underwriting divisions by booking and issuing policies and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in data entry and processing. The position requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication. You will collaborate with underwriters to manage multiple priorities and enhance operational efficiency, making no prior insurance experience necessary as training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of data entry or related experience
- High degree of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with initiative and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Curiosity, tenacity, strong work ethic, and ability to build positive working relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Insurance experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
