Job Summary
Manage and supervise underwriting and reinsurance operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Provide technical guidance to the Marketing Department on underwriting matters, conduct audits, and oversee portfolio analysis to evaluate performance and recommend corrective measures. Develop, review, and enhance new insurance products, premium tariffs, and policy wordings while coordinating with the Actuarial Department on pricing methodologies. Maintain operational manuals, standard policy templates, and forms, and collaborate with Compliance and Risk Management to ensure adherence to laws and directives. Organize team responsibilities, monitor work progress, and provide training to enhance employee capabilities. Participate in projects related to underwriting and reinsurance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- A minimum of seven years of professional experience in the non-life insurance sector
- at least two years in a team leadership or management position
- Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products, practices, and market dynamics
- Excellent risk identification, analysis, and assessment capabilities
- Strong project management skills
- Effective interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English
