Job Summary
Underwriting Analyst within the Credit Risk and Lending Product team, providing subject-matter expertise to resolve onboarding queries and lending complaints, supporting new product design and process optimization, understanding the consumer finance market to inform lending decisions, identifying red flags and potential fraud indicators, keeping detailed underwriting records, and adhering to FCA Conduct Rules in a start-up-like environment supported by JP Morgan Chase & Co.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the underwriting processes and procedures within a regulated FCA environment
- Experience in financial underwriting
- Customer service background (1 year minimum)
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize tasks
- Genuine interest in regulation and ability to interpret changes
- Knowledge of CONC and TCF principles and FCA guidelines
- Ability to lead by example and partner with stakeholders
