Underwriting Admin Assistant (6 months contract)

Job Summary
Support Underwriting Department with end-to-end processing and accurate data entry for underwriting and claims referrals across Munich Re Retakaful, Munich Re Singapore, and Munich Re Dubai. Manage shared underwriting and claims mailboxes, perform preliminary checks, liaise with cedants to obtain missing information, download and index documents, create/upload cases, allocate to underwriters/claims assessors, provide rotational coverage across offices (including weekend month-end) and back up administration staff as needed. Prepare and distribute daily case reports and ensure timely follow-ups and proper record management.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Based in Kuala Lumpur at the time of hire
- Legally authorised to work in Malaysia without employer-provided visa sponsorship
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
