Job Summary
Develop, underwrite, and manage a profitable portfolio of general/miscellaneous non-life insurance business across Europe. Responsibilities include drafting risk assessments, pricing, negotiation, establishing underwriting guidelines, managing claims processes, producing reports, and maintaining profitability of the portfolio. Requires a degree/MBA and 8+ years of insurance industry experience with strong underwriting and portfolio management skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years insurance industry experience
- Excellent technical underwriting and portfolio management skills
- Experience in building and managing profitable business
- Good technical knowledge of insurance products (preferably warranty based)
- Experience of regulatory bodies and frameworks
- Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders
- Computer literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
