Job Summary
Underwriter Trainee Academy is a full-time 12-month rotational program at RSUI in Atlanta, GA. Trainees rotate through underwriting product lines and support departments, work alongside experienced underwriters, attend underwriting meetings, and complete an individual capstone project addressing a real business challenge. The program includes exposure to broker seminars, participation in marketing trips, and development activities focused on technical and soft skills with a pathway to an Associate Underwriter role. During the training, trainees will be in RSUI’s Atlanta office five days per week; after transitioning to the Associate Underwriter role, the schedule shifts to a hybrid model (three days in office). A college degree is required by August 1, 2027, with all majors welcome; a background in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, or related business is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and with a team, and strong work ethic are valued.
