Job Summary
Underwriter in Renewable Energy/Power for the Singapore market and APAC region. Develop and implement underwriting strategy and business plan, build long-term profitable relationships with brokers, market products through international travel and representation at meetings/conferences, exercise sound underwriting judgment with ongoing performance monitoring, apply risk-management practices including aggregation governance, provide underwriting support to overseas offices, mentor associates to develop their potential, monitor portfolio performance, and pursue continuous improvements in processes and data management while prioritizing customer experience and timely stakeholder responses.
Required Qualifications
- Have proven experience within Renewable Energy and/or Power insurance market
- Detailed understanding of the business line with a technical grasp of current risk factors and underwriting concerns
- Understanding of the global insurance marketplace
- Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Network of Singapore and international distribution channels
- Active team member with open collaboration
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and excellence-driven
