Job Summary
Manage the placement process from business origination and pricing through to final underwriting decisions by reviewing enquiries for structured reinsurance solutions, developing tailored concepts, and conducting client negotiations. Prepare actuarially sound analyses and projections to actively manage contract profitability while maintaining existing relationships and supporting new partnerships through regular in-person meetings in Hannover and worldwide. Coordinate business data in line with defined quality standards and work closely with international colleagues in Underwriting, Actuarial, Accounting, and Natural Catastrophe Modelling. Join the Advanced Solutions team at Hannover Re headquarters, starting with a structured onboarding programme. This role involves a hybrid work model with flexibility, up to 30 days of work abroad within the EU and neighboring countries, and requires willingness to travel internationally approximately five to six times per year.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Master's degree in Business Mathematics, Mathematics or Physics with a strong economic focus
- Initial practical experience in the insurance or financial services sector, for example through internships or working student roles
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately five to six trips per year)
