Underwriter II, Trade Credit

Develop strong relationships with brokers and clients to grow the trade credit portfolio, while underwriting new and renewal submissions and negotiating policy terms. Analyze domestic and international corporate credits, evaluate financial information, and recommend or approve appropriate credit limits and terms. Professionally maintain and service an existing portfolio of trade credit insurance business by marketing to brokers and insureds to increase submission flow. Engage in underwriting and marketing projects to improve company results, while training and mentoring fellow underwriters. Meet operating and audit guidelines, participate in special projects, and collaborate with distribution colleagues to close opportunities. Requires 1-4 years of underwriting experience, a Bachelor's degree in business or finance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Cap IQ, and Salesforce. Some travel required.
