Job Summary
Underwrite and drive profitable growth within assigned authority by analyzing applications, financials, loss history, and third-party data to produce comprehensive risk assessments. Collaborate to cultivate and strategically manage agency relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and addressing performance gaps with a solutions-oriented approach. Ensure adherence to corporate underwriting guidelines, governance standards, and regulatory requirements to support consistent and compliant decision-making. Leverage data, tools, and analytics to evaluate risk, generate insights, and support balanced underwriting decisions. Communicate clearly across verbal, written, and digital channels to maintain alignment with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate product knowledge and articulate value propositions to support business development and partner engagement. Partner with distribution channels to enhance market presence and identify new business opportunities. Utilize metrics and performance data to continuously optimize territory outcomes. This hybrid role in Scottsdale, Arizona requires Monday through Wednesday office attendance with remote options for Thursday and Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- at least 2 years of relevant commercial Property and Casualty underwriting experience
- the ability to react and respond quickly and professionally
- creative, analytical, and innovative thinking to inure to productive problem-solving
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- authorization to work in the United States
- no requirement for VISA sponsorship, now or in the future
