Job Summary
As an Underwriter for Financial Lines at Zurich, you will help grow the Financial Lines portfolio across New Zealand by providing underwriting capabilities, supporting business development, and maintaining strong market relationships to enhance Zurich's market presence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in underwriting or broking within Financial Lines, Liability or related areas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with sound commercial judgement
- Ability to manage a portfolio, make informed decisions and work within clear frameworks
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with brokers, partners and internal teams
- Confidence using technology, data and underwriting tools to support decision-making
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
