Job Summary

Generate and underwrite annual renewable contractors combined business in accordance with the target profile and binding authority. Forge relationships with new and existing broker panels through telephone, online, and face-to-face interactions to increase new business activity. Identify business development opportunities with broker partners and produce and maintain underwriting files for internal and external viewing. Prepare files for audit and maintain accurate Management Information while monitoring the development of the broker's account and credit performance. This role requires three years of underwriting Construction risks experience and strong relationship management skills. You must remain compliant with FCA requirements and exercise independent judgement. Required Qualifications

Experience in underwriting Construction risks - 3 years minimum
Excellent relationship management skills
Excellent verbal influencing and trading skills

Knowledge and Experience in underwriting Construction risks
Experience of managing broker relationships

Ability to monitor the development of the broker's account including credit performance

Ability to work in accordance with the business plan and profile of target insurance business
Ability to work in accordance with the binding authority granted to the company
Ability to remain compliant with FCA requirements at all times
