Job Summary
Conduct risk assessments and underwrite Builders' Risk and Energy risks in line with appetite and guidelines, managing a portfolio of shipbuilding projects including dredging, mega yachts, and offshore vessels. Support portfolio development and profitable growth by analyzing complex risks, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities within international markets across the Netherlands, UK, Germany, and beyond. Maintain relationships with brokers and clients while collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment on underwriting decisions and strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Background in marine insurance, underwriting, or a related field
- Experience analysing or supporting complex risks
- Experience working with brokers, clients, or internal stakeholders

- Exposure to Builders Risk, Hull, Machinery, Energy, or similar lines
