Underground Utilities Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee daily field operations for underground utility projects, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and waterline installations. Lead and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment to maintain schedule and budget while enforcing a strong safety culture. Plan daily work activities, manage production, and solve field challenges by monitoring progress, manpower, and materials against plans and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners to ensure quality delivery. Requires 5+ years supervising underground utility construction, knowledge of excavation and grading, and experience with ODOT or municipal owners. Full-time role in Northeast Ohio with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supervising underground utility construction projects
- Strong knowledge of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline, excavation, and grading operations
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors
- Valid driver's license required
- Prior experience should include supervising projects for owners such as ODOT, Cities or Counties
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA and safety knowledge preferred
