Job Summary
Conduct underground survey pickups, mark-ups, and routine survey activities while producing and maintaining accurate mine plans for operational and statutory requirements. Deliver survey data and design files to machine guidance systems and mine planning teams. Manage and maintain survey data in line with legislative and site requirements, and calibrate and maintain survey equipment and software. Work closely with the Technical Services team to support production and development activities. This role supports the safe and efficient delivery of underground mining operations at Whitehaven's Narrabri Underground Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in underground coal mine surveying
- A tertiary qualification in Surveying or an equivalent discipline
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and modern surveying software
- Proficiency using Trimble survey equipment, GPS and total stations
Desired Qualifications
- A desire to continue developing your career, with support to work towards Registered Mine Surveyor status
