Job Summary
Operate and maintain underground construction equipment to install, maintain, and repair underground telecommunications infrastructure including trenching, boring, excavating, and placing conduit and fiber systems. Read utility locates and construction plans; ensure OSHA and company safety compliance; perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance; document work and communicate with crew, supervisors, and project managers; travel to various job sites as required; ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks; outdoor outdoor construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience operating underground construction equipment is required
- Ability to read construction prints and utility markings
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
