Job Summary
Lead day-to-day project activities supporting continuous underground rehabilitation operations for a potash client in Saskatchewan. Supervise, direct, and support employees while assisting with training and qualification requirements. Maintain safe, environmentally responsible operating conditions within equipment design parameters by conducting workplace inspections, audits, and safety observations. Provide clear work direction, coaching, and constructive feedback to ensure employees understand expectations, address performance concerns, and mentor team members. Coordinate manpower, resources, and work activities to ensure safe and efficient contract operations, acting as a liaison between management, shift operations, and maintenance teams. Review and authorize work permits in accordance with site requirements while collaborating with operations and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues and maximize productivity. Availability for 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Underground Supervisor certification/ticket as required under Saskatchewan mining regulations
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Valid WHMIS and SCOT certifications
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices with an excellent safety record
- Strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace
- Minimum 5 years of mining operations experience, preferably in potash
- Proven ability to lead teams safely, effectively, and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and contractors
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews while adapting to client operational requirements
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and credibility
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and process control software
- Experience using maintenance or work‐scheduling software
- Successful completion of a pre‐employment Drug and Alcohol test
- Availability for 12‐hour rotating day and night shifts
