Job Summary
Perform full overhauls, diagnostics, and repairs on underground drifters (Montabert, with Sandvik and Epiroc as additional scope) in a well-equipped shop. Use measuring tools to assess wear and tolerances; diagnose malfunctions with proper testing equipment; provide repair recommendations. Support underground operations by troubleshooting hydraulic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems on mobile and stationary mining equipment. Maintain detailed service reports, timecards, and warranty documentation. Travel to customer sites as needed. Contribute to a clean, organized work environment and safety-focused culture. Require a Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson certificate with underground equipment experience; strong diagnostic skills and commitment to safety; ability to handle up to 50 lb lifts and work in confined spaces.
