Job Summary
Provide daily briefings to subordinate crews, holding them accountable for safety, housekeeping, teamwork, and professionalism on-site. Maintain and enforce safe work conditions to ensure compliance with standards and procedures while delivering safety and technical support. Lead crew activities to optimize resource, manpower, tool, and equipment utilization for mining cycle and construction goals. Supervise subcontractors at the project site. Report to the Mine Superintendent to coordinate and supervise daily operations for underground development projects in Sudbury, ON.
Required Qualifications
- First Line Production Supervisor Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (Program #770121 or #770141)
- 5 years of related supervising experience in underground development mining or production workings preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be open to working at any of the underground mine sites, in Sudbury, that Technica operates at
