Job Summary
Conduct underground utility construction, maintenance, and repair for energized and de-energized lines, including digging, rigging, wire pulling, and pole installation. Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, and mini-excavators while adhering to strict OSHA safety standards and job task safety analyses. Read blueprints, coordinate crew mobilization, manage supplies, and assist with traffic control and site cleanup. Perform rigorous physical labor in various locations, often requiring travel on short notice and overtime. Maintain company vehicles and tools in good working order while applying positive teamwork and professional demeanor. Candidates must possess a commitment to safety, willingness to learn, and ability to function within a team environment. After six months, eligible employees may apply for the DOL Certified Apprenticeship Program.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL
- Valid driver's license
