Job Summary
Operate all requisite machinery safely to build and maintain underground fiber optic plants, managing trenching, boring, drops, and handhole placement under Construction Manager direction. Create daily production reports, material usage sheets, and accurate "as-built" maps while tracking work hours. Partner with fleet management to ensure vehicle and machine maintenance is completed. This full-time position requires 5+ years of telecom underground construction experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to work outside standard hours and travel throughout a large service territory. Candidates must reside in or relocate to the Casper, WY area.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of telecom underground construction experience
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a CDL for this role
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail oriented
- Ability to pass a drug test and background screen
- Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm hours
- Willingness to travel throughout a large service territory
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
