Job Summary
Underground Construction Laborer needed to support a drilling crew on geothermal/pipelaying/underground civil projects. Hands-on role requiring manual labor outdoors, exposure to mud and varying weather, and collaboration with the driller to set up and tear down rig components. Responsibilities include handling drill rods/pipe/casing, guiding equipment, assisting with drilling operations, preparing sites, supporting drilling fluids, excavating trenches, aligning and positioning pipes per blueprints, backfilling and compacting soil, connecting pipes (welding/gluing/threading), testing for leaks, and installing underground pipelines for water, sewer, and storm drainage. Must be physically sturdy, able to work long hours/overtime, and comfortable working outside in all elements; prior underground utilities/sewer/septic experience is a plus, with heavy equipment operating or drilling experience considered a bonus.
