Job Summary
Undergraduate Vacation Studentship in CSIRO Agriculture and Food across multiple Australian sites (Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Narrabri, Hobart, Toowoomba). Participate in real research projects within science, technology or related fields, work with CSIRO researchers, and take part in a structured program with workshops, panels, and a final symposium. Eligibility includes enrolled undergraduate status, strong academic record, and identity as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. Stipend provided for the placement duration (up to 11 weeks) with travel expenses covered as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Be enrolled in an Australian undergraduate degree
- Completed at least 2 years of undergrad coursework
- Strong academic record or demonstrated capability in the field
- Ability to undertake a full-time placement for 8-12 weeks during the university summer vacation
- Interest in pursuing a research career in science/technology
- Australian Citizenship (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander)
- Police check and other security/medical/character clearances may be required
