Job Summary
Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing (TXICFW) in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include conducting phone interviews with Texas childcare providers, tracking and maintaining a participant database, reviewing/editing/ translating study materials and reports, documenting and updating study processes, attending weekly team meetings, and assisting with other funded projects as assigned. Requires enrollment in at least 12 hours for fall/spring, ability to work independently and in a team, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information. Preferred qualifications include bilingual ability (Vietnamese or Spanish) and experience with quantitative/qualitative research methods; prior call-center, phone, or childcare facility experience is a plus. Location is hybrid (remote and onsite) at UT Main Campus (John Hargis Hall, 1823 Red River Street, Austin, TX 78712). Salary range is $18.50 per hour with 10-20 hours per week; start date around Aug 16, 2026, with grant funding and potential continuation based on performance and funding.

- Undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin must be enrolled in at least 12 enrollment hours
