Job Summary
Internship for Undergraduate student to provide administrative support to case managers at Casa Counseling in Orange County. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, organizing and scheduling appointments, planning meetings and taking detailed minutes, writing and distributing emails and forms, assisting in preparation of regularly scheduled reports, updating office policies, ordering office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers, maintaining contact lists, providing general administrative support to internal and external clients, and providing event support for community mental health events. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have proven experience as an administrative assistant with knowledge of office management systems. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) is required. Candidates should possess excellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. This non-paid internship is for 6 months with a commitment of at least 10 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to plan meetings, take minutes, and provide general administrative support
- Ability to research and maintain lists of events and suppliers
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
