Job Summary
The Undergraduate Program Coordinator role supports the day-to-day academic operations of the Bachelor of Information (BI) Undergraduate program, assisting in implementing and launching the first-entry BI program for fall 2027, interpreting policies and developing procedures, coordinating program activities and audits, and providing guidance to the BI Program Director, Associate Dean, and faculty. Responsibilities include analyzing service delivery, staying informed on policy changes, advising on admissions, registration, and degree requirements, coordinating materials and audits, liaising with industry on student program needs, and developing new workflows. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least four years in academic program administration in a post-secondary setting, with strong data-entry and reporting skills, proficiency with ROSI/Quercus/eMarks/CIS/CM and Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and project-management abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum four (4) years of related experience in academic program administration in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with program information (admissions, registration, course enrollment, degree requirements)
- Knowledge of academic policies and procedures including admissions, program/degree requirements, petitions, and registrarial roles
- Experience advising faculty on guidelines and procedures, maintaining workflows
- Experience developing and implementing new procedures and processes
- Experience coordinating skills development programming for professional-stream students
- Experience liaising with industry regarding student program requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop procedures from conception to implementation
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in student information systems (ROSI, ROSI Express, Quercus, eMarks, CIS, CM) and Microsoft Office including SharePoint
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain web-based information and applications
- Superior planning and project management skills
- Accountable, communicative, diligent, multi-tasker, procedural
