Job Summary
Faculty position in the Undergraduate Medical-Surgical Nursing program at Jefferson College of Nursing. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum across classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings; collaborating with faculty on course planning; overseeing selection of clinical preceptors and sites; managing student clinical placement and progression; serving on college committees; advising and mentoring students; engagement in scholarly activities and community service; and employing innovative teaching methodologies to support undergraduate nursing education. Requires Master’s degree in nursing (doctoral degree preferred), PA nursing licensure eligibility, and Med-Surg experience; teaching experience preferred. This is a salaried, full-time 12-month faculty position at the Center City Campus in Philadelphia, with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing required
- Eligible/current for licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Med-Surg experience required
- Previous teaching experience preferred
