Job Summary
Establish contact with Freshmen and Transfer inquiries via email, telephone, and in-person visits while working toward individual and team enrollment goals. Manage assigned territories by developing strategic travel and outreach plans, evaluating application files to make admissions decisions, and creating yield plans for accepted applicants. Serve as a liaison to academic schools by meeting with faculty and document all interactions in the Slate CRM. Assist with office activities including mailings, data entry, and file maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This on-site position requires frequent domestic travel, including occasional overnight stays, and is based at the Historic Gainesville Campus in Gainesville, Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to promote Brenau effectively, honestly, and openly
- Must be able to relate very well to prospective students of all ages, and where appropriate, to their families
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized and display a high level of dedication to the University and to the task of representing the University to the public
- Must provide the prospective students the highest level of customer service and support while abiding by the policies of Brenau University and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Must be punctual (arrival time approved/assigned by supervisor)
- Must dress professional
- Must foster an atmosphere of positive teamwork
- Must be eligible to work in the United States on or before the confirmed start date
- Must maintain eligibility throughout employment
- Must be able to operate and drive a motor vehicle
- Must be able to travel as needed
- Must be able to travel short distances
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- Must undergo a criminal background check
- Must have and maintain a favorable criminal history
- Must be willing to submit to and pass criminal background check
- Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required)
- Must be subject to random MVR checks
- Must be subject to random criminal history background checks
- Must be subject to pre-employment credit checks, random checks
- Must be a Responsible employee (Title IX)
- Must report any possible sexual harassment or discrimination based on sex to the Title IX Coordinator
- Must promptly provide Title IX Coordinator's contact information regarding pregnancy or related conditions
- Must report any arrest within five days of its occurrence
- Must disclose subsequent legal action (conviction, dismissal of charges, etc.)
- Must have and maintain a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) run as part of the new hire process or as the requirement to drive is added to job responsibilities
