Job Summary
Install software releases, apply patches, and troubleshoot performance issues within Microsoft Windows Server or UNIX environments. Analyze system logs to identify potential issues, complete audits of network infrastructure, and execute routine backups and migrations. Configure operating systems, manage user accounts, and develop scripts for hardware and software deployment. Collaborate with senior team members on system performance tuning, change management controls, and documentation of configuration processes. Investigate technical queries and remediate reported problems while adhering to established implementation standards and security policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Detail oriented, process focused, ability to learn in a fast paced environment and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of and adherence to change control processes in a large production environment
- Ability to understand and adhere to security policies and procedures
- On-site position, must be local or willing to relocate here
