Job Summary
Lead development and execution of enterprise-wide Advanced Practice Clinician workforce strategies, including onboarding, development, and retention initiatives. Establish standardized transition-to-practice programs, develop structured career pathways, and partner with leadership on workforce planning and care model optimization. Oversee training programs, clinical competency frameworks, and fellowship pipelines while benchmarking against peer organizations. Maintain an active clinical practice of approximately 40% to demonstrate clinical credibility and support practice standards. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and administrative leaders to promote alignment across inpatient and ambulatory settings, contribute to policy development, and monitor workforce metrics such as turnover and vacancy rates.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure/certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or Certified Nurse Midwife in the state of Utah.
- Master's degree in a clinical or related field.
- Five (5) years of APC clinical experience.
- Three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of complex healthcare systems, including academic and community-based environments.
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, program development, and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational initiatives within a matrixed structure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with executive and interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
