Job Summary
Perform radiographic procedures and critique images to ensure high quality while applying radiation safety principles. Assess patient vital signs during procedures, coordinate imaging support in operating rooms and patient care units, and report equipment malfunctions. Prepare, clean, and stock rooms with supplies and linens. Orient and mentor new employees on department workflows and policies. Requires current Utah Radiologic Technologist licensure and ARRT registration. Involves intensive work lifting up to 100 pounds and physical demands including crawling, stooping, and pushing.
Required Qualifications
- Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system
- Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah
- ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technologist R.T. (R) (ARRT)
