Job Summary
Manage all functions of the Student Services Academic 9-12 team, directing, overseeing, and evaluating department staff to achieve district goals. Provide expertise and support to area superintendents and staff to increase student learning and success. Develop and implement comprehensive academic and guidance services while creating policies to ensure compliance with federal and state statutes. Plan and direct feedback systems to assess district-level program responsiveness. Respond to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, and empathetic manner. Model effective technology use and maintain up-to-date skills through district-supported training. Keep leadership informed of critical issues and incidents. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Certification in education leadership and/or administration and supervision or completion within two (2) years of employment
- Valid Florida teaching certificate or have applied to obtain a Florida teaching certificate
- Three (3) years of administrative and supervision experience
- Three (3) years of experience in high school scheduling and academic planning

- Experience with high school counselors and administration
