Job Summary

Define and lead the global property operations strategy and vision across all asset classes, establishing firmwide operating standards and performance frameworks. Provide end-to-end lifecycle oversight from design through disposition, partnering with Development, Engineering, and Asset Management to ensure operational readiness. Serve as the top subject matter expert internally and externally, driving standardization, risk mitigation, and innovation in service delivery models. Guide enterprise oversight of operational budgets and major lifecycle decisions while representing Hines as an industry thought leader. Requires 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, frequent global travel, and availability to support critical incidents.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in property operations, facilities management, or asset management within commercial real estate or similar industries
  • Demonstrated experience in large geographic or enterprise-level leadership roles
  • Proven ability to define strategy, influence at the executive level, and lead large-scale transformation
  • Recognized subject matter expert with strong industry credibility
  • Deep expertise in property operations, building systems, and service delivery models
  • Ability to define and scale global standards and operating frameworks
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to advise, influence, and align senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional and global initiatives
  • Track record of driving innovation, technology adoption, and operational transformation
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing, globally distributed teams
  • Skilled in collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management
  • Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors 5% of the time
  • Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect properties and detect emergency alarms
  • Frequent collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Domestic and international travel required
  • Availability to support critical incidents and enterprise priorities as needed
