Job Summary
Underwrite and execute acquisitions and developments of light industrial real estate investments in the Phoenix MSA. Actively support the Senior Managing Director in engaging with the ownership community for off-market purchases and vetting offering memorandums. Perform financial modeling for acquisitions and developments, respond to leasing RFPs, and prepare investment committee presentations and monthly financial reports. Coordinate external consultants, architects, and engineers while managing construction teams to deliver new projects on-time and on-budget. Assist with third-party broker interactions for leasing and interface with city officials on planning and zoning issues. Prepare monthly investor reports, variance analyses, and updated proformas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or MBA from an accredited university
- Three or more years' work experience specifically in underwriting and financial analysis
- Proficiency with financial analysis
- Underwriting and excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an eye for detail
- Possess a sense of urgency and desire to grow the industrial platform
- Demonstrate strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work closely with a team of consultants and contractors
Desired Qualifications
- Work experience will be considered in lieu of graduate degree
- Experience in alternate asset class may be considered
- Exposure to development, construction and leasing is a plus
