Job Summary
Serve as the firmwide program lead and operational owner for how business content and documents are stored, owned, accessed, retained, and governed across Hines. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Records, Information Security, and business stakeholders to operationalize retention, access, external sharing, and records-management requirements. Develop standards for naming, folder structure, metadata, and content lifecycle processes while collaborating with architects and developers to align platforms with security needs. Manage vendor engagement, roadmap discussions, and issue resolution for enterprise content platforms. Lead special projects including migrations, repository cleanup, and new implementations, while supervising administrators, analysts, and outsourced partners. Support GDPR, PII, and compliance requirements through established security protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information management, business administration, library/information science, records management, or a related field from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of experience in IT, enterprise applications, information management, content management, records management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supervising administrators, analysts, program resources, and/or outsourced partners
- Demonstrated experience governing or supporting enterprise content platforms such as Box, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, DocuSign, Adobe, or similar tools
- Hands-on experience driving content governance, repository cleanup, migrations, access reviews, external sharing remediation, metadata/taxonomy, and lifecycle management programs
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs with Legal, Compliance, Records, Information Security, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information management, business administration, library/information science, records management, or a related field from an accredited institution is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and support processes for enterprise applications
- Experience in a global, regulated, real estate, investment management, financial services, or professional services environment
