Job Summary
Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and ensure they are in excellent condition before move-in. Conduct property tours for future residents and visitors, process documentation including credit screening and lease signing, and develop marketing plans to sustain occupancy. Use promotional items and technology to communicate with prospects and generate revenue while directing marketing, advertising, and sales activities to meet property goals. Assist the Leasing Manager with lease renewals, build relationships with residents to finalize leasing decisions, and perform physical inspections which may include climbing stairs or accessing restrictive openings. Work indoors approximately 95% of the time, with rare 24-hour emergency access and on-site operations management during natural disasters.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors approximately 5% of the time
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
- On occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Though occurrences are rare, be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters
- Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holiday
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or sales experience preferred
