Job Summary
Conduct daily grounds maintenance at Drewery Place by removing litter, debris, and trash from apartments prior to occupancy while ensuring areas remain clean and orderly. Inspect the property for potential hazards and inform supervisors of harmful situations affecting residents, team members, or guests. Complete minor service requests, distribute resident communications, and assign maintenance work based on urgency and efficiency. Verify parts for repair to support cost-control programs and ensure OSHA safety information remains current and accessible. Work approximately 75% outdoors and 25% indoors, standing all day, lifting up to 25 lbs, and climbing stairs or ladders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's license to operate machinery in property
- Work indoors approximately 25% of the time and outdoors approximately 75% of the time
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses
- Work standing all day
- Lift 25 lbs. or more
- Climb up and down stairs and ladders
- Access remote work areas and confined spaces (i.e., crawl spaces, roofs)
- Use full range of manual dexterity (i.e., sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting)
- Meet the shift working requirements of the assigned property; shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred
- One or more years of related experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail, organization, and strong multitasking abilities
