Job Summary
Conduct property tours, process documentation including credit screening and lease signing, and inspect apartments prior to occupancy. Develop marketing plans to sustain occupancy, create promotional materials to generate revenue, and ensure achievement of property revenue and occupancy goals. Assist with lease renewal programs, build relationships with prospective residents, and communicate marketing, advertising, and sales activities. Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and finalize decisions to lease or renew. Work indoors approximately 95% of the time, transfer properties, and work overtime as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must currently hold or obtain a real estate leasing agent license for the state of Illinois within 120 days
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors approximately 5% of the time
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
- On occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Though occurrences are rare, be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters
- Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or sales experience preferred
- Experience with property management software preferred; Entrada experience a plus
