Job Summary
Manage internal casework and evaluate nursing talent development for medically fragile patients. Perform "Start of Care Assessments" and "Re-evaluations" to transition patients from facilities to home care. Review physicians' orders, update care plans, and document changes as needed. Assist in interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff while enhancing field expertise. Collaborate with operations and business development teams to ensure compliance with State, Federal, Local, and Aveanna policies. This leadership role combines clinical expertise and administrative responsibilities to ensure care delivered by field staff exceeds the Clinical Standard of Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Current, good-standing RN license in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
- Ability to travel to patients' homes within the designated territory
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults
- Willingness to comply with all health-related requirements in applicable jurisdictions, including vaccinations and testing, subject to medical or religious exemptions
