Job Summary
Oversee nursing services across designated locations by assigning patients to coordinators, supervising staff performance, and ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain effective communication with families and physicians while reviewing new referrals and monitoring clinical status to guarantee appropriate patient care. Conduct on-site visits to assess care quality, environment, and caregiver performance, and participate in administrative and clinical calls. Assist in hiring and orienting registry nurses, stay current on payer regulations, and support marketing initiatives within budget constraints. This role requires an in-office presence in Dallas, Texas, Monday through Friday, with a salary of $70,000 plus benefits including mileage reimbursement and on-call pay.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Active Nursing License
- Minimum of one year of management experience
- Relevant clinical or work experience as required by state and federal regulations
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Sufficient sensory abilities to respond to emergencies
- Capability to reposition patients and move equipment unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in pediatrics/neonatal care
- At least one year of home care experience
- CPR Instructor certification
