Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to safeguard personnel, property, and classified information. Enforce site rules, greet guests, and escort visitors while securing ingress and egress points. Respond to security alarms, act as a first responder in emergencies, and provide first aid as necessary. Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication. Requires a DCJS license (VA only), valid driver's license, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Full-time role with $28/hour.
Required Qualifications
- DCJS License (VA Only)
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
- Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in: First Aid
- Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in: Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Must be a United States Citizen
- S. Passport
- Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate
- Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240)
- Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
- Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
- Verifiable work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting field
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
