Job Summary
Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns while monitoring access points, verifying IDs, and checking surveillance systems for threats. Respond to alarms and emergencies per protocol, maintain accurate activity logs, and perform routine tasks such as locking doors. Assist visitors and employees professionally while enforcing site-specific post orders and ensuring compliance with client policies regarding smoking, loitering, and parking. This part-time weekend role (Sat-Sun, 7pm-7am) requires a valid Alabama security license, clean motor vehicle record, and ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs. Additional training is provided on the job.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Security License as required by the state of Alabama
- Knowledge of Windows Office or other app-based technology
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
- Alabama Security Regulatory Board License
- Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
- State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)
- Sat-Sun 7pm-7am availability
- Attention to detail
- Sense of responsibility
- Ability to stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
- Ability to walk a minimum of 1/2 mile without stopping
- Ability to climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping
- Part-Time position availability
