Job Summary
Unarmed Security Officer responsible for vehicle patrols, monitoring surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding to alarms and incidents, warning violators, reporting security breaches, assisting employees and visitors, conducting periodic checks of equipment and systems, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed. Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure the safety and security of the site in the Mason/Yerington area of Nevada. Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate security equipment; CPR/First Aid/AED certification is a plus and prior security experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Proof of driving record may be required
- Valid registration card from Nevada's private investigator licensing board
- Experience as security guard or relevant position preferred
- Ability to operate surveillance cameras and alarms
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Physical ability to patrol on foot and respond to incidents
- Dependable and punctual
