Job Summary
Escort and supervise assigned cruise line crew members continuously, maintaining visual contact within ten feet while ensuring compliance with DHS and CBP regulations. Treat clients and colleagues with courtesy, confidentiality, and respect, responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies while adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures. Complete accurate incident reports, logs, timesheets, and assignment records, reporting operational concerns promptly to supervisors. Maintain appropriate security licenses, obtain required IDs including TWIC cards, and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. This As Needed position requires a bilingual candidate with an active Florida Security Officer Class D license and experience in security operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Active Florida Security Officer License Class D
- Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and DHS/CBP escort requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively—verbally and in writing
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain appropriate security licenses
- Ability to make independent good judgment decisions within proper policy or procedure
- Ability to obtain required IDs (TWIC card and airport security credentials)
